Trio Restaurant Restaurant Review:
This longtime Dupont Circle spot takes diners down a culinary memory lane, featuring some of the dishes that made our grandmothers happy back in the mid-20th century. Imagine roasting fresh turkeys, baking pies daily (the lemon meringue is gooey sweet) and from-scratch cooking. True, the fare isn’t cutting edge or trendy, but if you hanker for some old-fashioned grub (think corned beef and cabbage, chicken fried steak and beef pot roast) this is your go-to restaurant. And don’t overlook the sandwiches and burgers --- we suggest the guacamole burger. Check out the extensive wine list to find the complement to your meal.
