Milo's City Cafe Restaurant Review: Milo’s offers straightforward, home-style cooking served in friendly neighborhood surroundings. The breakfast menu lists a wide array of standards, including six versions of eggs Benedict, a half dozen omelets, four choices of hash, fluffy waffles and more. Appealing lunch selections range from sandwiches to salads and pastas; the Hungarian mushroom soup is perfect for a cool day. Dinner gets a bit pricier --- but is still comparatively reasonable --- with fresh and inventive steak, seafood and pasta entrées: seafood stew, a hearty pork chop with an apple-cranberry glaze. There’s a small, select wine list to peruse, and local draft beers are also available. For dessert, kids will like the banana split made with crushed Oreos. Servers are friendly and the décor is arty. |
