| Restaurants with oceanfront views too often make that attribute their primary focus, but it’s not the case at Moonstone, even though the approach is less upscale and more family-friendly and affordable. Seafood is usually the go-to, especially the oysters Rockefeller, smoked salmon quesadilla, and any of the nightly grilled fish specials. However, other menu standouts are the French onion soup (which we prefer to the chowder), the Reuben and the New York strip steak. Desserts are pretty basic, but the moderately priced wine list showcases local favorites, and the full bar offers the option of enjoying a spicy seaside Bloody Mary. |
