Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: You couldn’t ask for a better view than what you’ll appreciate from Moonstone’s front patio, and combined with its reasonable prices and family-friendly approach, this is a popular spot on weekends. Not surprisingly, the menu highlights seafood, with dishes ranging from steamers to grilled salmon sandwiches to the seafood omelets served for Sunday brunch. However, the turf selections deserve some attention as well, especially the French onion soup (which we prefer to the chowder), the pulled pork sandwich and the flat-iron steak with pistachio butter. Desserts are pretty basic. The moderately priced wine list showcases local favorites, and the full bar offers the option of enjoying a spicy seaside Bloody Mary. |
