Pace in the Canyon Restaurant Review: In narrow, winding Laurel Canyon, beneath a funky market, this unexpected restaurant sports used-brick walls, a Euro-style stand-up bar, and seating on multi-colored schoolhouse chairs. Try the meaty steamed mussels in wine sauce and peruse the pasta options; you’ll recognize all the usual suspects. Dishes arrive with al dente noodles and full flavored with memorable sauces and cheeses. Pizza has a puffy-edged light crust permeated with both fresh herbs and cheese.
