Panini Coffee & Cafe Restaurant Review

: Bent Thomsen’s funky café in the Marina Marketplace specializes in pressed Italian sandwiches, highlighted by the ciabatta sub with salami, turkey breast, Fontina, roasted peppers and fresh basil. Another option is the chicken and salsa verde: chicken breast seasoned with green and black olives, parsley, capers, garlic, lemon, sage and black pepper. Breakfast is served all day, starting at 11 a.m., and includes egg dishes, multi-grain pancakes and sourdough french toast with cinnamon and orange rind. Panini Coffee & Café is also a retail outlet for Prebica coffees, so expect above-average coffee and espresso drinks. Italian specials, served after 5 p.m., include fresh trout sautéed with almonds and grapes, and salmon filet with mango salsa.
