This smart-looking wine bar carves out a niche in quiet Glendora, offering small, interesting plates paired with more than 30 wines from around the world and a dozen primarily European beers. Chef Sharon Sessler turns out mushroom arancini, Stilton-stuffed dates, crab cakes with rémoulade, and salads like a watermelon, feta and kalamata olive mix that is perfect on a hot day. A decent selection of cheeses is offered and the wine list includes enough boutique producers to keep things interesting. And for something sweet, consider a butterscotch pudding garnished with chocolate covered bacon. The cozy place, with its worn brick walls, rich wood wainscoting, black linen-topped bistro tables and contemporary accents, is appealing to a wide clientele.
