Pat's BBQ Restaurant Review: Barbecue fans won't believe their Southern taste buds when they plunk down at one of the picnic tables inside Pat's on Burnt End Fridays, which is like a family reunion in Memphis. The loud, live music falls in cadence with happy crowds dining from paper plates and wiping up homemade barbecue sauce with paper towels that sit at the ends of the tables. Heaping plates of Cajun and Creole-spiced entrées leave you satisfied. Pork ribs are sometimes succulent, sometimes stringy and tough, so forgo them for pulled pork or smoked chicken and red beans and rice, coleslaw and mashed potatoes --- all made fresh. For dessert, consider the bread pudding.
