Famed for his wonderful Bistro Jeanty down the street, Philippe Jeanty opened this less expensive alternative in 2003. Although this restaurant still brings out the Country French feel, it sometimes does not deliver on its promise. Service is spotty, dishes seem rushed and the kitchen is frequently off. Oddly, the simple pizzas shine, and Père Jeanty also prepares specialty steaks, quite tasty, alongside the French-inspired fare.
