Project Taco offers out-of-the-box tacos in variations like Thai Peanut Chicken, Blueberry BBQ and Chicken Bacon Club. Vegetarians can steer towards the Miracle Meatless (made with Beyond Meat) or Hermosa Hummus. Look out for weekly specials such as Meatless Monday ($1 off meatless tacos) and Taco Tuesday (three tacos for $9). There is also happy hour Mon.-Fri. 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and all day on the weekends with $1 chips and salsa and $5 beers, wines and sangria. Also located at 34 Pier Ave., Hermosa Beach, 424-247-7797.
