This 17th-century townhouse now hosts a Ralph Lauren store and its restaurant behind. All the swankies of Paris, left and right banks of the river combined, scramble for seats in the interior courtyard, which resembles a romantic patio with large parasols, teak benches, wrought iron chairs outfitted with comfortable blue-and-white striped cushions, a fountain and the whisper of a flowing stream of water. The main dining room with its superb original mantelpiece and large ceiling girders, the cozy bar and the private room are very elegant and ideal for spending a few tranquil moments. The American cuisine features top quality produce: Maine lobster, Maryland crab and organic Black Angus beef raised in the U.S. The tenderloin and sirloin steak come directly from the RRL Ranch, property of Ralph Lauren. Also in the American tradition, diners can depart with "doggy bags" for their leftovers.
