On a less fashionable stretch of Ventura Boulevard is this sophisticated restaurant. Arnon Raphael, former owner of Bel-Air Bar & Grill, warmly greets guests at the door. With executive chef Adam Horton now in the kitchen, look for such dishes as steak tartare with house-cured dill pickles; du Puy lentils accompanying braised lamb shank; and roasted duck breast paired with garlic-glazed Chinese broccoli. Desserts may include banana bread pudding or a condensed milk flan with red peppers, almond milk ice cream and popcorn mousse. Pair your meal with a selection from the wine list, or peruse the signature cocktail menu.
