Red Tracton's Restaurant Review: The martinis are martinis and the men are men at this stronghold of red meat and old-fashioned American excess, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Jammed during racing season (the Del Mar track is directly across the street) and busy at other times, Red Tracton's is a draw with folks who don't bother to count calories or cholesterol. The menu is dominated by steaks, but there are several chicken and seafood selections as well. We say go for the full-bone cut prime rib with a giant stuffed baked potato, piled high with crumbled bacon, sour cream, cheese and butter, just like the good old days. |
