THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Restaurant of Joe Greensleeves Restaurant Review:

A spin-off of the respected Redlands eatery, this grander, more ambitious edition of Joe Greensleeves is located in an old bank building---the bar, in fact, is situated behind a massive vault door---with vintage chandeliers and cozy booths. Tables are topped with candles and burgundy linen, while the blonde wood walls are lined with nautical paintings. (Yes, it's miles from the ocean, but Joe Greensleeves is the name of a boat.) The menu features Italian specialties combined with American chophouse fare. Starters include a refreshing caprese salad, carpaccio and the trademark "Green Sleeves," an Anaheim chile stuffed with venison and goat cheese, topped with a sweet, smoky corn sauce. Mushroom ravioli in a rich cream sauce studded with bacon and very respectable gnocchi highlight pasta choices. Game dishes round out the menu, like double venison chop cooked over an aromatic orangewood grill. It's served with a fig-port wine reduction that is a bit too sweet but satisfying nonetheless. We are disappointed in the rather pricy wine list, which generally does not identify vintages, and service requires some fine tuning.
