Norco is known as “Horsetown USA,” but images of elephants are more prominent at this solid Thai eatery. Vibrantly colored walls, Thai art and linen-clad tables contribute to an inviting space hidden in a neighborhood shopping center. The menu is pro forma for suburban Thai restaurants, but nearly everything we’ve tried here has been well executed and attractively presented. Curries, from the slightly sweet panang to the creamy yellow variety, are extremely respectable, and the pad thai is not as cloyingly sweet as at some restaurants. Other dishes include a garlicky mixed seafood grill served on a sizzling platter, sweet basil lamb and orange chicken. For dessert, consider fried bananas with coconut ice cream or exotic rambutan fruit.
