Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Sibling to the Vancouver establishment, this is the second “Home of the Abalone King.” (People instantly recognize the trademark twin roosters by the door.) The menu has a dizzying variety of abalone dishes fit for any budget. Some of the rarest from South Africa will easily fetch $100 a serving. Braised abalone with goose web may seem like a strange combination at first, but it is the allure of contrasting textures that makes it a house favorite. Other dishes include a stir-fry of cod filets with seasonal greens. There is a lengthy choice of dim sum, too. Steamed buns, shu mai dumplings, and chicken feet make appearances, as do a bevy of pork-laden bites like spare ribs, juice-filled pork dumplings, and taro and pork balls that are crispy on the outside. An egg custard tart and sponge cake make for sweet but light desserts.
