THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Solyazul Restaurant Review:

Occupying the hallowed space of the former Merida, which served the area’s best Yucatecan cooking, is Solyazul. The former rustic setting, replete with Mexican beer signs, is gone. So is the great Yucatecan cooking. Now it’s a sleek, trendy place with an abundance of blond wood, some avant-garde lighting fixtures and lemon-and-lime hues. The patio has been relocated to a pedestrian-filled alleyway in the back. The menu features ceviche, lobster taquitos, fish tacos, sea bass fajitas, and grilled chicken with a red mole. While it might not replace a legend, this a worthy newcomer indeed.
