South is billed as a “contemporary Southern bistro,” and its décor hints of casual Americana. The menu, on the other hand, leaves no doubt about its origins. Breakfast favorites revolve around cheesy grits and biscuits and gravy. Chef Jared Tyler changes the dinner menu weekly. We suggest the sweet and tangy Delicate Salad with its mixed greens, feta, caramelized walnuts and cranberries and Tyler’s secret dressing. Don't miss the home-ground hamburger, served on a bun or, if requested, swimming in grits. There's a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available, including the restaurant’s famous sweet tea.
