Sunny Blue Restaurant is one of GAYOT's 2013

Sunny Blue Restaurant Review: Sunny Blue lays claim to being the first shop in Southern California to specialize in omusubi (Japanese rice balls stuffed with savory fillings also known as onigiri). Options from the menu include miso beef, curry pork, salmon with chili seasoning, and chicken with sweet-and-sour sauce. Side dishes range from inari sushi (tofu pouches) to soups. The casual Santa Monica spot also serves frozen yogurt, with Japanese-influenced toppings like yuzu, green tea and azuki red beans --- plus, familiar items like corn flakes and Oreos. |
