THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Table for Two Restaurant Review:
Table for Two is chic and stylish, with modern sensibilities --- in both the interior design and the cuisine. Despite the curious presence of teriyaki and a dish that involves a tortilla wrap, classical Thai themes dominate the menu and the cooking exhibits the kind of sophistication we see in quality Thai establishments. For starters, the angel wings --- reflecting a refined technique and artful presentation --- give this ubiquitous dish a welcome touch of panache, and salads are tossed with assertive, but not fiery, dressings. For entrées, we recommend seafood gra pow (a mixture of seafood stir-fried with chili sauce and mint leaves, served in a hot foil bag); pad prik king (deep-fried chicken in a coconut curry paste); and the steamed ginger chicken with green onion fried rice with a chili ginger sauce. Fried rice dishes, especially the stew-like rice hot pot with Chinese sausage and mushrooms, make fine complements. Service, although sometimes harried, is generally efficient and helpful.
