| This enduring L.A. mainstay---it is part of the Lawry’s Restaurants family---has been around since 1922 and started out as a roadside homemade potato chip stand before evolving into a full-service restaurant with a Scottish theme. Once a Disney Studios hangout, the restaurant has anchored this Los Feliz neighborhood through good times and bad. You’re still guaranteed the chance to enjoy comforting old favorites in an authentic Scottish pub atmosphere. House specialties include prime rib with creamed corn or spinach, and the spit-roasted duck served with seasonal vegetables, wild rice and lingonberry sauce.
