 Tender Greens is three friends cooking together in a casual and colorful restaurant in the heart of Culver City. The concept is easy and is a great value. The focus is organic salads that come in different varieties, sizes and with various accompaniments. Order at the counter the salad of your choice, a soup, or grilled chicken, steak, tuna or vegetables, and the chefs prepare your meal in front of you. You can have it all at once or separate, served on a tray that you take to your table. Don’t worry about the wait: it averages seven minutes. All is homemade, tasty and fresh. A few items are a must: the meat sandwich on rustic bread, the mashed potatoes, the tomato soup or the carrot cake for dessert. There is an expansive outdoor seating area, and if you are a large party, go all the way to the end of the patio where cushions on benches are waiting for you. |
