Whether you're looking for a view of the waterfront or of the big game, Tony Palermo's wide-open, super-friendly place is yuppie heaven. The wall of 27 big-screen TVs extends across the bar, showcasing every sports contest imaginable. The crowd actively participates, and the mayhem drowns out all but the loudest shouters, so don't go for conversation. But do go for the scene, the nice patio with a view of the marina (or, when it's cold, the glassed-in dining room with the same view) and the specialty cocktails. The enormous menu offers an array of pizza, pasta, and charcoal-grilled meats, as well as specials such as Mama’s chicken Parmesan, center-cut pork chops with chunky applesauce and flatiron steak. There's even a daily selection of fresh fish like Hawaiian wahoo and yellowtail. For dessert, the “chocolate lovers dream” features rich chocolate cobbler. |
