Chef Hélène Darroze's bistro near Notre Dame charms guests with its (somewhat heavy) dishes that mix family and country traditions, presenting a thoughtful cuisine that emphasizes ingredients from the Southwest. The décor and the three brightly decorated dining rooms also allude to her connection to this region. Diners should be sure not to miss the tandoori leg of suckling lamb, ravioli piperade with piquillo peppers, shavings of black ham from Bigorre, or the wine list offering more than 70 different vintages with many from the Southwest.
