THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED U-Sushi Restaurant Review:

A fresh, fast-food spinoff from the folks behind Santa Monica’s Ozumo, this super-casual Beverly Hills spot can best be described as Subway with sushi. It’s fast, it’s cheap, it’s healthy and it’s fun. To design your own sushi roll ($7.50) step up to the counter and choose your wrapping (seaweed or soy), rice (white or brown) and then unleash your inner sushi chef. Choose from eight kinds of fish, ranging from tuna, yellowtail and shrimp to eel; grab up to three of a dozen vegetables like avocado, spinach or tofu abura-age; pick a dressing like wasabi soy or unagi; and if you want a garnish, go for tempura flakes or tobiko. Helpful servers assemble your choices but the fun part is having a robot machine put them together. Sides and salads are ridiculously inexpensive --- especially sunomono seaweed ($2), goma spinach ($2.50) and shrimp tempura ($2.50). Don’t forget the iced yuzu green tea and a mochi for dessert. And, need we say, kids totally love it.
