A Wolfgang Puck venture located in the Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex, Vert is a bustling and unpretentious modern-day Franco-American brasserie that successfully balances fine dining and casual noshing, with a lively bar, linen-topped tables and bold modern art. The appealing menu represents a contemporary take on traditional French brasserie-style cuisine, although we’ve noticed a gradual phasing out of traditional items like pissaladière (a Niçoise specialty) and Alsatian tarte flambé. Nonetheless, notable French-inspired options include coq au vin and cassoulet, complemented by eclectic dishes such as a Thai-spiced turkey burger and miso-glazed salmon. Full lunch and dinner service is offered, and a bar menu is also available throughout the day and late at night.
