 Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill Restaurant Review: Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill is an unapologetic bastion of butter and barbecue sauce. And though this outpost of the chain restaurant is located in the heart of health-conscious L.A., it can still get busy on the weekends with shoppers and visitors to The Grove. The restaurant's most popular item, a tri-tip roast, is slow-roasted overnight and mesquite-grilled to order, accompanied by a choice of two of 15 signature sides. Meat is king of the menu, though lighter options like salads and fresh fish such as rainbow trout and balsamic shrimp are available, along with a few vegetarian options. Portions are generous, so plan ahead if you want to sample the homemade warm chocolate cake or made-from-scratch deep-dish apple or peach cobbler. |
