| Laguna Beach locals hang out at Zinc Café & Market for the laidback attitude, sunny dog-friendly patio, and breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. Bleary-eyed locals start showing up early with their pooches for an eye-opening café au lait, along with muffins, scones and healthful egg dishes. At lunch, the menu moves to heart-healthy salads and sandwiches or small, well-made pizzas. Dinner options include vegetarian sliders, spanakopita, and a whole artichoke for appetizers; greens with herbed cottage cheese; and such entrées as mushroom nut loaf, vegetable lasagna and potato enchiladas. Parking in this part of town is almost impossible, so make sure to bring a fistful of quarters for feeding the meter. |
