Zou 75 Restaurant Review: Beyond its modern aesthetics of warm chocolate walls, welcoming blonde furnishings and chic-elegant lighting, Zou 75 consistently delivers smartly presented, quality sushi. Fresh fish flown in from Hawaii throughout the week makes the difference. For starters, try the crispy duck spring rolls and tender baked scallops in tobiko aïoli sauce. The menu also offers other contemporary fare, so if sushi isn’t on your mind, try the spicy teriyaki or tofu bowl, the miso-glazed salmon or the togarashi-encrusted Niman Ranch steak with wasabi mashers, garlic broccoli florets and bell peppers topped with crispy onions. Head sushi chef Derek Holliday is responsible for the Japanese Euro-fusion menu that's complemented by libations from a full bar. |
