Never before offered to the general public, this one-day seminar is a wonderful educational opportunity for the true wine enthusiast. When smelling a wine, do you wish you could better distinguish between varying types of floral, woody or fruit aromas? The sense of smell is crucial to understanding and enjoying wine, yet most enthusiasts and many wine professionals have never had the necessary training to truly develop this sense. By describing all of the facets of each aroma, we learn to recognize them and memorize them and master them, says Schmitt, which allows us to identify them, even within the aromatic complexity of a wine.
