Metrokane Electric Rabbit Corkscrew - Review

Rabbit Redux

Metrokane Eletric Rabbit Corckscrew comes in three classy colors

Opening Wine Bottles is a Cinch

Why bother with a fancy mechanical wine opener, no matter how little physical effort is required, when you can do it with the simple push of a button? Metrokane's new Electric Rabbit corkscrew, like its mechanical predecessor the Rabbit Wine Tool Kit, makes opening your favorite bottle of wine a cinch. For ease of operation, the Electric Rabbit locks onto the neck of the bottle; just pull up when done to release. It even works on the toughest plastic corks. Getting the cork off the corkscrew is just as easy as getting it off the bottle — just push the other button.

An LCD screen on the top of the corkscrew indicates how many bottles you can uncork before the rechargeable battery runs out. The limit is 30 per charge, which we found to be more than ample for the average domestic dinner party. Product includes foil cutter and AC charger; charging base not necessary. The Electric Rabbit comes in black, silver, red and metallic red.

Price: $45
