Iron Horse Vineyards in Sonoma County, California

Popular in California, Spain, Italy and Southern France (where is has exceeded white wine in sales), Rosé has historically been considered to be a delicate, dry wine — though like both white and red wine, it can differ in style, ranging between sweet and dry, light and dark. Rosé wine is a product of the red winemaking process, though it does not complete the process: it is stopped before it has extracted too many characteristics of red wine, making it an "unfinished red wine" — thus, it’s pink-hued color. Rosés often provide notes of strawberry and raspberry. Below are the best Rosés we've tasted, starting with our highest rated wines.
