Tommaso Restaurant Review: This is the place for robust Italian fare. Among notable antipasti are baby meatballs in ragù, escargots, and roast peppers with anchovies. Entrées include braised short rib, double-cut American lamb chops, steak au poivre and duck confit. A three-course prix-fixe menu is available for $27, and Thursday through Sunday there's live music --- owner Tommaso Verdillo is a gracious host and an able singer. The Neapolitan Christmas Eve dinner is an annual standout. The wine list includes some intriguing choices that are reasonably priced. |
