baci&abbracci Restaurant Review:
Perhaps alluding to the ebullient nature of Italians, Brooklyn-based baci&abbracci (meaning “kisses and hugs”) evokes the feel of a day spent with unpretentious cousins. Located in the hipster mecca of Williamsburg, this Italian gem draws neighborhood folk to its modestly decorated, white-walled main room or sunny patio, where they dine on mostly classic Italian dishes like brick-oven pizzas, calamari fritti (served with two distinct sauces) and extravagant calzones stuffed with ham, ricotta, mozzarella, mushrooms and a touch of tomato sauce. Chocolate tartufo provides a satisfying ending, especially when paired with a cappuccino.
