Castello di Amorosa in Napa Valley is an impressive stone complex inspired by a medieval Italian fortress. Their 2011 "Il Raggio del Sole" (which roughly translates as sunshine, in Italian), is made from Muscat Canelli grapes grown much farther south in Santa Barbara County. It is sweet and low in alcohol, featuring floral aromas on the nose and flavors of peach, orange and honeysuckle in the mouth.
