O Fournier 2012 Urban Uco Torrontés
Cafayate, Argentina

Torrontés, a Spanish varietal that flourishes in Argentina's high-altitude Cafayate region, has quickly become the nation's signature white wine grape. Scarce rainfall, hot days and cool nights make for a slow maturation process, resulting in a fresh and crisp pour. Urban Uco's aromas of peaches and spring flowers with a hint of spice make way for dried apricot and ginger on the palate. The wine's well-developed flavors and moderate acidity are best enjoyed within a year or two of release.

Rating: 13.5/20

Price: $12
