 Aroma Kitchen & Winebar Restaurant Review: This soft-spoken Italian restaurant does simple fare very well. The philosophy at the brick-and-wood-bedecked Aroma is dining is an experience to linger over and savor. The menu features seasonal ingredients from the farmers market and the resulting cuisine is a mixture of Mediterranean specialties. Start with the Apulian artichoke Parmigiana served with pesto and smoked treccione. Next try the pappardelle with local beef, pork and veal ragù or the pan-roasted lamb chop with mint pesto, Umbrian lentils and cannellini beans. Aroma offers an early evening aperitivo Monday through Friday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. that includes sliced meats, cheeses and other Italian specialties with a sampling of three different wines. |
