Strip House Restaurant Review:

Though the Strip House is most definitely a serious restaurant, it manages to have a sense of humor. Everything here screams fun, from the burlesque style logo and bordello red décor to the opera photos on the wall that hark back to the days when the space was home to Asti, an opera-themed Italian place. One of the more successful attempts at reinventing the New York steakhouse is happening in the kitchen. The menu offers plenty of broiled beef, be it the signature New York strip, porterhouse or filet. More refined appetizers like New England sea scallops with edamame succotash, black truffle butter and a corn broth; and the vine ripened tomatoes and red onion with sliced cucumber, sweet basil, and a delicate tomato water vinaigrette lend elegance to the meal, as do the sides like creamed corn with pancetta.
