Swift Hibernian Lounge Restaurant Review:

Quoting the great Irish satirist, Jonathan Swift, is not obligatory at this East Village bar dedicated to all things Emerald Isle. Enjoying yourself over a pint of brew is. And that's not hard here, as they serve an excellent pint of Guinness. With a back room that's part beer hall-part church (yes, there's even an altar), several beers on tap, trompe l'oeil on the walls, and enough rustic Irish knick-knacks, you'll be amused for the rest of the night. When you get hungry, there’s typical pub grub to be found: spicy lamb sandwiches, beef and Guinness pie, a variety of pizzas, and good ol' mac ‘n’ cheese, among other stomach soakers. A shuttle stops by every twenty minutes to take marathon drinkers to the lounge's sister drinking spots: Puck Fair and Ulysses.
