BAM Cafe Restaurant Review: On the top floor of the imposing Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), BAM Café boasts one of the sleekest interiors in all of Brooklyn. Lit arches span the spacious dining area lined with overstuffed chairs. The menu changes weekly but dishes may include grilled sea scallops with celery root purée and black currant gastrique to start, followed by the creamy forest mushroom polenta cake with tomatoes, braising greens and a Gorgonzola cream and Cabernet drizzle. Friday and Saturday nights echo with live music featuring everything from jazz or worldly beats to maestro classics. |
