THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Barna Restaurant Review:

Located in the low-lit basement of the chic Hotel Giraffe, this Barcelona-inspired eatery serves up tapas dishes and (mostly) seafood entrées to a beautiful see-and-be-scene crowd. Start things off with a few small plates: the paprika-cured Spanish sausage and tetilla cheese, salt cod fritter with tomato-saffron sauce, and potato tortilla with Romesco sauce are taste bud pleasing (while the sweet and sour lamb ribs look good on paper, they are loaded with fat). Then move on to a main dish like paella Barna---tasty saffron risotto, shrimp, chicken, mussels, chorizo and baby green peas. The salmon-like grilled arctic char (served with buttercream potatoes) is memorable. The wine list sticks to Spain and the sangría (both red and white) is potent enough to make you forget the whole experience the next morning.
