THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Boom Restaurant Restaurant Review: It's eclectic, different and fun, with monthly changing art shows, live music two nights a week and a DJ on the weekends. The menu is East meets West, with such specialty appetizers as Vietnamese five-spiced grilled quail served with a watercress salad and the Japanese-style spinach salad of marinated seaweed drizzled with carrot ginger dressing. Entrées range from grilled portobello risotto and lobster ravioli to sesame-seed-crusted rare tuna on a sushi rice cake, a grilled baby lamb chop sided with polenta and a Boom burger topped with homemade ketchup. More so than the food, though, the novelty, crowd and the club are the attraction here. |
