THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Briscola Restaurant Review:

In front is a funky sitting room with a few café tables for espresso, gelato or drinks. The back dining room features a combination of soft colors and bizarre stalactite sconces and chandeliers. There’s an informality to it all, thanks in part to the waiters wearing jeans with white aprons and shirts. Gino Cammarata’s good Sicilian fare includes fish and meat dishes. If available, make sure you order the sweet baby clams from the Adriatic on a bed of spaghetti lightly tossed in a tomato-garlic sauce. Gino has a knack with fish, and if you don’t go for the traditional Sicilian-style codfish, try the salmon. For dessert, the choice is homemade gelati. The wines are mostly Sicilian and Italian---and mostly expensive.
