| The Brooklyn outpost of the West Village seafood restaurant offers the same grub as the original---the famous and delectable lobster roll, savory ceviche, an array of freshly shucked oysters, or the changing specials of grilled or fried whole fishes. But this younger sibling also offers outdoor seating in the warm months, and even better, a much shorter wait for a table. The vibe is casual, with wood floors and exposed brick walls. The prices can be steep, but the quality of the seafood is consistently high; the wine list pairs well with all of the dishes, and there’s a nice beer selection, too. Don’t forget the kiddies, they can order from the “little salty dogs” menu. Lastly, make sure you snare one of the desserts---especially the hot (homemade) fudge sundae. |
