The Burger Bistro Restaurant Review: Located in Bay Ridge, this casual burger joint is all about choice. Every diner is given a red marker to indicate their preferences on a menu. Choose your burger (beef, chicken, lamb, veggie), the temperature you want it cooked, an array of toppings (jalapeños, fried egg, onions and bacon, among others) and the cheese. The burgers won’t win any awards --- the buns are too thick, eclipsing the real flavor of the burger --- but they’ll satisfy anyone with a carnivorous craving. Sweet potato fries are light and flaky, and worth ordering every time. There’s a small handful of affordable wines by the glass and a decent selection of beer too. |
