THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Buzina Pop Restaurant Review:

Buzina Pop is inspired by a 1960s Brazilian TV icon, "Chacrinha," an illustrious entertainer and his celebrated buzina (meaning “horn”). Reminiscing on Chacrinha’s influence on Pop culture, the décor lends itself to a rustic-contemporary Brazilian style. The floor has motifs of a sidewalk in Leblon, Rio, and tasteful Latino design elements. Appetizers (Para Comezar) include thinly sliced, lemony hearts of palm that sit under fat, juicy scallops. For entrées (Para Continuar), the crispy cod with grainy black-eyed peas and dende-scented farofa proposes complex consistencies. The avocado mousse sprinkled with cocoa nibs and the coconut-wasabi sorbet is innovation itself. House cocktails fused with mint, honey, cachaca and potent liquors help sustain the magic. Only the sound of the buzina drags you back from the fantasy, flavors and feel of Rio.
