This neighborhood bistro on the ground floor of an Upper East Side townhouse, run by Andrée and Charlie Abramoff, who both grew up in Egypt, serves up dishes from nearly every country that borders the Mediterranean. Dried flowers, large mirrors with antique frames and a trompe l’oeil scene of Provence contribute to the cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The menu changes monthly, save for a few staple dishes such as the cassoulet, tuna steak and the Moroccan couscous. Popular dishes include rack of lamb, smoked haddock and crème brûlée.
