Andre Balazs has taken over the erstwhile The Cooper Square Hotel and transformed it into The Standard East Village NYC. He’s also changed the in-house restaurant to Cafe Standard, which serves up American comfort food such as meatballs, mac 'n' cheese and crispy calamari.
