THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Theater is the theme at District, housed in The Muse hotel located steps away from many Broadway theaters. Interpretive curtains frame the entrance to the restaurant and divide the dining room in half. The place is done in muted tones with plush upholstered seats and banquettes. Executive chef Patricia Williams dishes up a simple seasonal American menu that's ingredient-driven. There's citrus roasted chicken with white gazpacho, marcona almonds and smoked grapes. Bravo to the 'encores' of smashed potatoes and other snappy side dishes.
