Like the famous faces whose autographed photos line the walls, locals know that this pizza parlor serves brick-oven pies in true New York style: a crispy, charred crust and a dozen or so fresh, traditional toppings (in other words, there's not a pineapple on the premises). It may take a while to get a table at a graffiti-scarred booth, and the prices may not be as inexpensive as some spots, but for the fresh garlic, sweet Italian sausage and mushroom toppings, it's worth every minute and every cent.
