THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Kefi Restaurant Review:

The wait can be long at this über-popular Upper West Side neighborhood Greek eatery, but once you get a taste of chef Michael Psilakis’ affordable menu, you’ll be glad you stuck around. Not to be missed is the branzino filet served with sun-dried tomatoes, crispy on the outside and achingly tender inside. The colorful spread sampler in a beautiful teardrop platter is great for sharing, covering the bases with revithia (chick pea), taramosalata (caviar), tzatziki (yogurt) and melitzanosalata (eggplant). Desserts shouldn’t be missed either: try the simple but elegant Greek yogurt with fruit, honey and pistachios or the nutty flavors of the walnut cake accompanied by walnut ice cream. If you go on a weekend, the restaurant opens up magnums of top Greek wines from its extensive cellar and sells individual glasses of such wines as the 1997 Tsantali Rapsani, a rich blend of xinomavro, krassato and stavroto grapes.
